Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED). Students who have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in all subjects, in ANY STREAM (Science, Commerce, orArts & Human ties), are eligible to appear for UCEED. Result of UCEED gets you admission to prestigious IITs in design courses.
National Institute of Design is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, Textile and IT Integrated (Experiential) Design. NID offers 4 years undergraduate and 2 years post graduate courses in creative fields.
National Institute of Fashion Technology offers 4 years undergraduate and 2 years post graduate courses in Fashioin and related industries. Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED). CEED is conducted by IIT Bombay. It is a qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur and IIITDM Jabalpur, and to Ph.D programmes in Design at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Kanpur. Qualifying in CEED alone does not guarantee admission to any of these programmes.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The NATA exam result ensures that the eligibility criteria for admission to five-year Bachelor o f Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course, as prescribed by CoA and duly approved by the Central Government, are strictly adhered to and followed all over the country in Architectural Institutions.
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or Bachelor of Visual Arts (BVA): The duration of this course is 4 years.

Admissions to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur are done through the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED). The objective of the Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) is to assess the candidate’s aptitude for design involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity, communication, and problem solving skills. CEED is conducted by IIT Bombay. It is a qualifying examination for admission to Master of Design (MDes) programmes at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Kanpur and IIITDM Jabalpur, and to Ph.D programmes in Design at IISc Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIT Kanpur. Qualifying in CEED alone does not guarantee admission to any of these programmes. Admitting institutes may conduct further tests and / or interviews for the final selection / admission.
