CEPT NATA UG Entrance Exam and Syllabus for SBST and interior Design courses

CEPT offers 5 courses at UG level.

1.

CEPT B.Arch

This fifty-year-old program is internationally recognized. Seat:

Program 50% of total seats to be filled in by ACPC, GoG 50% of total seats to be filled in by CEPT University (All India Seats) Total Seats
Bachelor or Architecture ( B.Arch) 40 40 80

 

  • 50% of total seats to be filled in by ACPC, GoG: These seats will be filled in by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Government of Gujarat. These seats shall be filled-in from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in the State of Gujarat including Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli, and have appeared NATA. These seats shall be filled as per the guidelines of ACPC. Candidate has to apply to ACPC, GoG, separately.
  • 50% of total seats to be filled in by CEPT University (All India Category): These seats shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State, Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli) and have appeared in NATA. Merit list for these seats shall be prepared by CEPT University.

Eligibility for seats to be filled in by CEPT University (All India Category):

A candidate must have passed Standard XII (10+2) or its equivalent Examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with minimum aggregate score of 50% marks from State Boards, CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB.

OR

Candidate must have passed Diploma 10+3 pattern of any stream with subject of Mathematics with minimum 50% aggregate marks from Technical Examination Board of Gujarat or other state or from a university established under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 are also eligible for admission to B.Arch. course

OR

International Baccalaureate Diploma with minimum 50% aggregate marks and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination

Note: 
Additionally the student will have to meet the minimum qualifying marks for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) test as per Council of Architecture.

2.

Bachelor of Interior Design

Seat:

Program 50% of total seats to be filled in by ACPC, GoG 50% of total seats to be filled in by CEPT University (All India Seats) Total Seats

  • 50% of total seats to be filled in by ACPC, GoG: These seats will be filled in by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Government of Gujarat. These seats shall be filled-in from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in the State of Gujarat including Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli, and have appeared in CEPT Aptitude Test. These seats shall be filled as per the guidelines of ACPC. 
    Candidate has to apply to ACPC, GoG. 
  • 50% of total seats to be filled in by CEPT University (All India Category): These seats shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State, Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli) and have appeared in CEPT Aptitude Test. Merit list for these seats shall be prepared by CEPT University.

Eligibility for seats to be filled in by CEPT University (All India Category):

Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) Examination from Gujarat state board or any other State board with Science Stream or its equivalent in CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer as optional subject (all at higher/advance level), securing a minimum aggregate score of 50%.

Note:

  • In all the cases, aggregate will be calculated based on all the subjects including languages, optional courses, practical examination etc. Failure in any subject disqualifies the candidature. Applicants having equivalent qualifications other than that stated above will have to submit an attested copy of equivalence certificate from the appropriate authority along with the application.
  • Candidates awaiting HSC result will have to produce a certificate from the principal of the high school that he/she has appeared in the XII Standard examination of the Science Stream. Candidates who have applied for verification/rechecking of marks may also apply and submit the rechecking certificate. All the candidates must submit final mark sheet on or before the stipulated date and time and satisfy the minimum requirements failing which admission will not be granted/ forfeited.


3.

Bachelor of Design (Building Products and Systems)

Seat:

Bachelor of Design (Building Products and Systems)  20

 

  • All seats will be filled in by CEPT University (All India Category): These seats shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State, Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli) and have appeared in CEPT Aptitude Test. Merit list for these seats shall be prepared by CEPT University. Candidate has to apply to CEPT University

Eligibility:  

Applicants should have passed the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination) or its equivalent examination from any streams (Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities), from Gujarat state board or any other State boards or CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB, with a minimum aggregate score of 60% for all subjects.

OR

Applicants should have passed the Diploma (10+3 pattern) of Civil, mechanical, architecture, or architectural assistantship stream with minimum 60% aggregate marks from Technical Board of Gujarat or any other state or from a college/university established under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 will be eligible to apply for the program.

Bachelor of Urban Design

Bachelor of Urban Design (BUD)  40

 

  • All seats will be filled in by CEPT University (All India Category): These seats shall be filled from the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State, Diu, Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli) and have appeared in CEPT Aptitude Test. Merit list for these seats shall be prepared by CEPT University based on merit.

Eligibility for seats to be filled in by CEPT University (All India Category):
